Before He Realized His Error It Was Too Late, He Was Trapped!

He was only looking for somewhere warm to lie down, but before he realized his error it was too late!

He was a stray, and he was tired so he wanted somewhere nice and warm to lie down. Thinking he had found just the right spot down he lay, realizing too late that he was trapped.

The only thing he could do was bark, and that was exactly what he did over and over again. Never quit, until some nearby workers heard his cries for help and came to investigate.

They found him completely stuck in the tar, desperate to get out, so they rang animal rescuer Joanna Godlewska, who works for the Niczyje Animal Foundation.

When she arrived at the scene she couldn’t believe her eyes and tears began to well up. The only good thing about this dog’s current situation was that he had been able to break his snout free so he could breathe and bark. With help from local police and the fire department, they were able to cut him out with the help of oil to loosen the tar’s hold on his fur.

Rescuers worked diligently to remove the tar and were finally able to free the dog. He was brought to a vet clinic to be treated for exhaustion and for a complete examination.

Nearly 100 ticks were found and removed from his body.

After receiving multiple baths to remove the remaining tar from his paws and fur, he was offered a warm meal and soft bed to sleep in. It is unclear how long he was trapped, but he was so happy to be free.

The resilient dog started to regain strength and was treated for minor wounds on his head.

The sweet boy was named Farcik, but also called “Luck”, by his rescuers. Godlewska is slowly starting to walk with him and discovering that he had a hard life until now. He is being showered with love and all the care he needs. “Farcik is resting. He regains strength and above all faith in man,” posted Niczyje Animal Foundation.
