After Moving Out She Leaves Her Dogs In A Cage On The Sidewalk With The Trash!

In most cases, dogs never get to choose their owners, so if they end up with a bad owner life tends to be hard, in some cases unbearable. This was the case for these two dogs!

To some people, dogs are an easily expendable item, much like a TV, or hairdryer. Easily expendable, if you no longer need it you can throw it out and get another one later, just throw it out with the trash.

This is what happened to two poor dogs in Barstow, California when their owner moved out. She threw out her trash, part of which were two dogs, left on the sidewalk in a cage with no food or water.

A volunteer for Dream Fletchers, Allen Boartfield received information regarding the two poor animals and immediately drove there to help. Upon arriving at the scene what she saw can only be described as heartbreaking.

The information Allen received was that the dog’s owner had been evicted from her home and just abandoned the dogs like so much trash.

The dog’s name were Treasure and Catch and both were afraid and cautious of people they don’t know, they were so afraid that Catch nipped at Boartfield and refused to leave Treasure by herself.

After the dogs were rescued they were immediately sent for a medical checkup at the Camino Pet Hospital in Irvine, California. After they had a detailed examination, Hedy Herold, the rescue coordinator for the hospital said that poor Treasure was so matted she barely moved without feeling terrible pain, and she would scream to our technicians that tried to help her.

The dogs were staying together a  lot, but then Catch caught a cold and he was put to isolation to be cured, so the duo was forced to be separated.

After some days Treasure started to trust people more she became a more warm dog, and then she agreed to take a bath and get spayed, she is healing physically and spiritually really fast.

But Catch is another story, he still is cold towards people, he doesn’t accept pets or love from them, the staff hopes they will see Catch loosen a bit too, so he can feel safe and enjoys the love he will receive here.
