She Is Brought To The Hospital To Say Her Final Goodbye!

Final goodbyes are never easy, and so it was for Mollie who was taken to the hospital to say goodbye to her owner, 33-year-old Ryan Jessen.

They were always together, Ryan and Mollie, so when he suffered a brain hemorrhage they knew they had to take her to see him one last time and say goodbye.

Staff at Rideout Memorial Hospital, Marysville, California were amazing, allowing Mollie in in the first place.

Ryan passed away that very day from a ventricular brain hemorrhage after spending time with his dog one last time.

Jessen’s sister, Michelle, described on Facebook what happened next:

“The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother’s dog in to ‘say goodbye’ so she’d know why her human never came home. If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog.”

Although the video was likely meant for their immediate friends and family, it has touched the hearts of people all over the world.

Michelle made sure to reassure everyone that Mollie will be well looked after. “Don’t worry about the dog! We’re keeping her!!! She’s part of the family.”
