Two Weeks After His Owner Went Missing His Dog Snuck Out And Tracked Him Down!

Two weeks after his owner went missing this dog makes an incredible journey to find him.

John Dolan went to the hospital to be treated for skin ulcers, while he was away his dog, a Siberian Husky named Zander, became very depressed.

What happened next was amazing! Zander makes a two-mile journey right to the Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York. It just happened to be the same hospital John was being treated in!

Priscilla, John’s wife, mentioned to John that the dog was “moping around.” Howling, he spent much of his time curled up on Johns and Priscilla’s bed. Clearly, in distress, Priscilla thinks their bond is as strong as it is because Zander has never forgotten John rescued him from a shelter.

When Zander stole away from home, he had to navigate through homes and a nature reserve. Zander would have also had to traverse the Montauk Highway and a stream in order to safely reach the hospital.

Zander arrived outside of the hospital and was spotted by a nurse. She looked at Zander’s tags and called John’s cell phone, which John answered in his hospital bed.

John related the conversation to the news channel: “[The worker said] ‘You have a dog.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah.’ He’s like, ‘Well, you gotta come get him. I gotta go to work. I’m at the hospital. I gotta go to Good Sam.’ I’m like, ‘I can’t go and get him. I’m in the hospital myself!’”

It could have been Zander’s amazing canine sense of smell that leads him right to John’s side. But no matter how he got there, Zander was happy to be by John’s side once again!
