Abandoned On The Road A Tiny Puppy Leads Rescuers Somewhere Very Important!

After receiving a call from a passing motorist, rescuers drive to a lonely country road to find an abandoned puppy. He then takes them somewhere important!

They had to drive quite a way trying to locate the abandoned puppy, about seven miles all told.

But then off in the distance, down a dirt road, they could see what looked like a puppy off in the distance.

He was standing beside two worn-down concrete pillars. When the rescuers got too close for comfort he ran off.

Not wanting to leave him here they followed him, calling to him in a calm manner, hoping he would come to them. Then they couldn’t believe what they saw, he had led them to a litter of puppies!

Not just one, but a whole litter of five puppies, probably only two months old. All abandoned here, without their Mom!

It’s best not to try and analyze who could do such a thing, but it’s hard not to. Why abandon puppies out here to die, take them to a shelter.

Crying out to them it’s not hard to imagine what she was wanting.

The rescuers had come prepared. The young family was all given food and water. It didn’t last long, they had all been starving and were extremely thirsty!

While they ate, one of the rescuers Milan still prayed that Mom would go out and join them. But no, there was really no mother in sight. So sad! But at least the puppies finally had food. They were hungry!

After eating something, Milan gathered them to bring them to safety. Look, it’s a rescue dog bouquet!

They were loaded into the van and then Milan searched again for his mother. They still had hope.

It was definite, she had not been abandoned with them. Meet the puppies!

Puppy #4 Luna.

Puppy #5 Bruno.

The puppies were taken to the shelter, where they are receiving tons of love and good care.

They will get all the veterinary drugs and vaccines they need and then go for adoption. Aren’t they precious?

Thanks to kind-hearted people, like Milan and his crew, the pups are safe and sound. We know it doesn’t erase the bad in the world, like abandoning unwanted animals, but we are so thankful there are people willing to do what they can to save precious lives.
