In An Ideal World, A Dog Rescued From The Streets Would Be Adopted Into A Loving Home Not Facing This!

In an ideal world, when a dog is rescued from the streets it would go to a shelter and get adopted, giving us a happy ending.

Unfortunately, many dogs face a cruel destiny, a destiny with no happy endings.

Two such dogs were Kala and Keira, awaiting a cruel fate at the Atlanta-based Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. No one had expressed any desire to adopt these two dogs, even though based were sweet-natured and trained. They were waiting to be put down!

The clock ticking, time was very much running out for the pair. This being the case the shelter made a last ditched effort to find them a home. They took a shot of Kala and Keira hugging each other and posted the pic on Facebook.

The powerful image of the two hugging pooches was posted with any equally powerful caption. Within minutes the post went viral, saving the life of two sweet dogs.

“I’M KALA. THIS IS KEIRA. WE’RE SO SCARED IN HERE. THE PEOPLE WORKING IN THE SHELTERS SEE HOW SCARED WE ARE BUT JUST TOLD EACH OTHER THAT TODAY IS OUR DEADLINE. IF NO ONE SAVES US, SOMEONE WILL TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME. I’LL SEE HER AS SHE GOES DOWN THE HALLWAY. SHE WON’T COME BACK AND I’LL CRY. THEY’LL COME FOR ME NEXT, AND I WON’T BE AS BRAVE,” THEY WROTE IN THE CAPTION.

“THERE ARE NO WORDS TO TELL YOU HOW HAPPY WE ARE THAT THESE TWO BEST FRIENDS ARE SAFE AND TOGETHER!” THE SHELTER STAFF SAID.

The two cuties got adopted, escaped the cruel fate that was waiting for them, and now they are enjoying their new life with a lot of love from their new family.
