She Has Been Waiting Faithfully At The Same Spot For Over A Month For Her Owner To Come Back!

Dogs are known as loyal animals, devoted, faithful to a fault, and always there for their owners, a loyalty some owners don’t deserve. A photo of a dog waiting for her owner illustrates this point perfectly.

The photo was taken on a pier in Bangkok, Thailand, it has touched the hearts of many locals. Apparently, she had fallen off the boat she lived in, and had been waiting in exactly the same spot for over a month.

Thanawan Thongporn posted the photo of the forlorn but faithful dog on Facebook hoping she could find her a home, including the caption “I’m lonely.”

People have been feeding her every morning, but as soon as she has finished her breakfast she goes right back to the very same spot she has been sitting for days. Hoping her boat will return for her.

She added, “I feel sorry for the dog. Someone, please adopt her. I would have done it if my home had space for another dog. Or I hope she reunites with her owner soon. Every time I see her like this, I tear up.”

Many locals have shared the post and are checking missing dogs posted on the Internet with the photo of the pier dog. Thanawan also posted an update in the comment section saying that someone has offered to adopt the dog.

And shortly after, “Sugar” as the dog is now named, was indeed adopted. She now has a new, loving home. She is living well in a big home with a family who dotes on her.

I’m glad that Thanawan took the initiative to try and help Sugar. The lonely dog is alone no longer!
